SMAANZ 2021 Conference
The SMAANZ Board is currently proceeding with plans for the conference to take place as an in-person event at the University of Canberra on 1-3 December 2021, commencing with the HDR day and welcome function followed by two days of conference and the closing dinner. For those who cannot travel to Canberra and would still like to present their research and engage with the community, there will be opportunities to present and participate online.
If you can travel to Canberra, the conference committee, led by Stirling Sharpe will deliver an amazing program including academic, industry, and government presentations, strategic discussion and special interest symposia, professional development workshops, physical activity and sport options, and many networking opportunities that only an in-person conference can facilitate. Selected sessions of the conference will be live-streamed including the Thursday morning keynote and award recipient presentations.
Please note that given the uncertainty caused by ongoing health advice and travel restrictions, the SMAANZ Board and UC SMAANZ Conference Organising Committee do reserve the right to withdraw or cancel the face-to-face conference prior to the event, based on health advice and travel restrictions at the time.
Abstract submissions have now closed. Please keep an eye on your emails and SMAANZ social media for announcements on keynote speakers and other exciting information about our 2021 conference!
