SMAANZ 2026 - EOI Now Open!

Dear SMAANZ Community,

The SMAANZ Board is inviting Expressions of Interest from Australian and New Zealand universities to host the 2026 SMAANZ conference. It is noted that upcoming SMAANZ Conferences are planned in Geelong (2024) and Auckland (2025).

Attached is a template EOI document and a template Memorandum of Understanding that outlines the details required for hosting the SMAANZ conference. The expressions of interest will be assessed by the SMAANZ Board on the following selection criteria:

• Experience in managing academic conferences
• Experience in managing academic paper collection, distribution and return for the reviewing process
• Track record of successful conferences
• Host University support
• Track record in obtaining sponsorship
• Range of services and ancillary events provided

Please submit all Expressions of Interest, and any questions, regarding hosting the 2026 SMAANZ conference, to info@smaanz.org by Friday April 26, 2024.
