SMAANZ 2025 - EOI closes 23 June, 2023

Dear SMAANZ Community,

The SMAANZ Board is inviting Expressions of Interest from Australian and New Zealand universities to host the 2025 SMAANZ conference. It is noted that the SMAANZ Conference is planned for Australian cities in 2023 (Canberra) and 2024 (Geelong), hence interest is sought from New Zealand universities in particular.

Attached is a template EOI document and a template Memorandum of Understanding that outlines the details required for hosting the SMAANZ conference. The expressions of interest will be assessed by the SMAANZ Board on the following selection criteria:

• Experience in managing academic conferences
• Experience in managing academic paper collection, distribution and return for the reviewing process
• Track record of successful conferences
• Host University support
• Track record in obtaining sponsorship
• Range of services and ancillary events provided

Please submit all Expressions of Interest, and any questions, regarding hosting the 2025 SMAANZ conference, to conference@smaanz.org, by Friday June 23, 2023.
